On Sunday the 23rd of October, there was a huge turn out for the Alum Cliffs trip. 21 people turned up to get on the water and paddle through the spectacular gorge. The participants spent over 5 hours paddling and surfing a distance of 24km. There were a few good play waves to surf and some great opportunities to get stuck in holes. Few swimmers and some good lessons learned.
