What a Summer of paddling we have had!!!

We started with the AFL Grand Final Race followed with the Bluff to Bluff, Derwent Doctor, Surf Safari, Coles Bay Classic, Carlton Gold, Frederick Henry Bay Race, Sandy Bay Regatta, State Titles, Battle of the Boats and the Penninsula Marathon.

There was also 12 Twilight Races with 4 different winners, 8 Browns Races, Summer survival and Freycinet Challenge. That's a possible 40 races over the summer period.

There has also been teams going to the 20 Beaches and the Perth Doctor, coaching clinics with Dawid Moche and Oscar Chalupsky, 20+ free Next Level Kayaking training sessions, a NLK Come and Try Day and heaps of downwind paddles.

That's a lot of paddling.

Ben Maynard retained his State Series Title.

Ben also won the State Title.

Jodi Templar won the State Title for the 4th year in a row having never been defeated in the championships.

Jamie Stubbs won the Vets state Title (& 3rd over all)

Thanks to everyone that participated in these events, after all that's why we organize them. A very special thanks must go to all the organizers, time keepers and safety boat drivers, without you, these events can not happen.

Paddling is alive and well in the DCC and Tassie.
