2006/07 Browns Rivulet Race 5 Results
Brown’s Rivulet Race Series 2006/2007 Race #5 was held on Tuesday 19th December 2006, with 7 paddlers turning out for the low key Christmas week event The Time Trial event was taken out, overall, by Dan Hall in 6:37 in a DRR boat, from fellow Aust Wildwater Team member, Ben Maynard in 7:08 followed by the sprint boat of Chris Blackaby in 8:02. The Multi-sport class was taken out, Chris Blackaby in 8:02, from the Time Bandits of Matt Watton (8:29) and Leigh Wighton (8:38). The Open DRR was taken out, by Dan Hall from Ben Maynard and a tie for third between Carol Hurst and Dave Gray. The hottly contested Handicap event was taken out by Dan Hall, finally(!!!), followed by Ben Maynard and Matt Watton. Thanks must go to Sarah Boyle, for the starting and video finish… and to Dan, for the handicapping!
