2005 Australian Wildwater Championships are to be held in Tasmania from the 17th  January 2005 on the Mersey, with an U15 Event on the Forth River and extra selection events on the Mersey and at the Brady’s Lakes slalom course. The Championships will be immediately after the Cataract Extreme race to be staged in Launceston’s Cataract Gorge.
